Fees
Our current fees are $158 per day.
Fees include all meals, learning materials, activities and incursions.
Child Care Subsidy
The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is a Commonwealth Government subsidy to assist families with the costs of childcare.
It is a means-tested payment that is paid directly to providers, and reduces the fees families pay to the provider.
Co-op is an approved provider, and can receive the CCS on behalf of enrolled families.
Kinder Funding
The Co-op delivers a funded 3- and 4-year-old Kindergarten program led by qualified early childhood teachers. The programs are play-based, and Victoria Government funded and approved.
From 2023, the Victorian Government is making kindergarten programs free for three- and four year-old children – saving you up to $2,101 per year for each year of a kindergarten program your child attends in an integrated long day care setting.
Free Kinder is a critical component of the Victorian Government’s Best Start, Best Life reform. By providing Free Kinder for kindergarten programs in long day care, the Victorian Government is ensuring parents are supported to access a program in a flexible setting that fits around work and other commitments.
Your child can only be funded for a kindergarten program place at one service at any one time and only for one year in a Three- Year-Old Kindergarten program and one year in a Four-Year-Old Kindergarten program (unless your child is assessed as being eligible for a second year of Four-Year-Old Kindergarten by your child’s kindergarten teacher).
Operations
The Co-op closes for one week over Christmas/New Year and one curriculum day at the beginning of the year for staff’s professional development, planning, curriculum development and administration.
The Co-op also closes during public holidays (fees apply).
Waitlist
Placing your child's name on the waitlist does not guarantee immediate enrolment at the Co-op. However, by submitting your information, the Co-op will maintain a record to reference when a vacancy becomes available. Given the high demand for childcare services, we recommend applying early to increase your chances of securing a spot. It's worth noting that unborn children can also be registered on the waiting list, allowing families to plan ahead.
Enrolment
When parents are ready and express their interest in enrolling their child, they can initiate a discussion with our Director. During this conversation, parents can articulate their preferences and gather valuable insights into our programs and offerings. The Director will then provide a link to the enrolment form. We prioritise open communication and collaboration to make the enrolment journey a positive and informed experience for both parents and children alike.
